However, the approach that Cosmic Acupuncture takes is highly individualized and works to heal acne from the root cause. Lifestyle adjustments are occasionally recommended along side weekly acupuncture treatments as well, but only to the level that feels doable to you.

Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, also known as EDS, is a connective tissue disorder. Typically this is a hereditary or genetic condition that becomes more apparent as people age. Hypermobile EDS, also known as hEDS, is the most common. Typical symptoms are hypermobile joints, stretchy skin, excessive scarring, and joint pain. However, EDS can affect nearly every single system of your body. Symptoms can range from digestive issues to cardiac events.

Paige also lives with EDS and has found incredible relief from acupuncture. Not only can it ease inflammation and joint pain, it can also soothe the various other symptoms that often accompany EDS. This can be immensely helpful for verifying an EDS diagnosis, but also for peace of mind and clarification of what areas of health should be watched more closely. For example, Vascular EDS can be fatal and should be treated carefully and accordingly. From her own journey with EDS, Paige also has a trusted network of health practitioners that she can refer out to for the aspects that acupuncture can't fully address.

In Tradional Chinese Medicine, it is thought that the menstual period should come and go without it ever affecting your life. That means no cramps, no bloating, only some blood that painlessly falls out of you for a couple of days. This might sound like a dream come true to you and possibly even something that could never be the case for you. I can also order the Dutch test, a popular (for good reason!) urine hormone test that tells you much more than a normal blood draw test. This test is great for any hormone related issue, including menopause, fertility, etc.
